Pirate Pupils
This lesson focuses on how the eye works and on how the brain can be tricked into seeing things that are not real. It is suitable for students aged 8+ or for younger pupils with modifications.
Magnetism
This lesson is in the form of a board game and is suitable for students aged 11+. They learn how magnets work and some examples of the uses of magnets and magnetism.
Almighty Air
In this lesson students learn about gravity and the importance of shape in determining how fast an object will fall. They learn about streamlining to increase the speed of a paper plane and apply what they have learned to the design of a parachute.
Fossils
This lesson teaches students aged 10+ how fossils form and how horses evolved. The students then make their own 'fossils', which they can bring home.
